Information policy
Första AP-fonden’s information policy is based on the mission assigned by the Swedish Parliament and the Fund’s status as a government enterprise.
Goals:
To spread knowledge about the Fund's mission, asset management and investment philosophy.
To create trust and confidence among those to which the Fund is answerable (the Swedish Government, Parliament and general public) in the manner in which the Fund carries out its mission.
To build credibility as a professional asset manager, among other things in order to recruit and retain competent employees.
Means:
All significant information that is not detrimental to the Fund's investment activities shall be made public. Information shall be easily accessible and shall be provided primarily via the Fund's web site.
Good accessibility by the general public. In accordance with the provisions in the Freedom of the Press Act, the general public shall have access to public documents.
Good service to the mass media. Journalists shall be treated with respect and understanding for their professional role. It is therefore important that it be easy to contact the Head of Corporate Communications and the Managing Director.
