Första AP-fonden has endorsed the UN Principles for sustainable value creation. It is a clear statement that we want to promote the principles implemented in our business.
Socially responsible investments and corporate responsibility are two sides of same coin. Both take into account the ESG issues, namely evironmental (E), social (S) and governance aspects (G) in its operations.
To achive this we encourage companies:
- not only to analyze their business not only from an economic standpoint but also from a corporate governance, environmental and social perspective and develop strategies accordingly
- transparent reporting on how they work with ESG
