Climate change and allocation
It is Första AP-fonden´s view that the issue of climate change is crucial for the long term performance of the fund and deserves action.
Första AP-fonden has joined the Institutional Investor Group on Climate Change (IIGCC) a forum for collaboration on climate change for European investors. The IIGCC brings investors together to use their significant collective influence to engage in dialogues with policymakers on climate change issues related to investment decisions. Första AP-fonden has also, as the only Swedish pension fund, together with 13 international institutional investors, the IFC (part of the World Bank), the Carbon Trust, leading climate experts and Mercer carried out a study to analyse the impacts of climate change of strategic asset allocation.
