Vision
Första AP-fonden strives to be role model among international pension funds and create tangible value for the Swedish pension system. To requires the Fund to generate high returns and to have cutting-edge knowledge, skills and working methods.
Första AP-fonden has a challenging mission that places high demands on the Fund’s working methods and the skill of its employees. To succeed the Fund must secure a position among the top pension managers worldwide. In this capacity, Första AP-fonden will also serve as a role model for other international pension funds – and that is what the Fund’s sights are aimed at.
Mission
Första AP-fonden’s mission is achieve the highest possible returns on the Fund’s assets, with well-balanced financial risks, and thereby contribute to high and predictable long-term retirement pensions for current and future pensioners.
Första AP-fonden’s operating objectives are based on the mission assigned to the Fund by the Swedish Parliament and the fact that the Fund is part, albeit only a small part, of the Swedish pension system.
